Indian Summer Wine Club

The Wine Club is the premier social club of both Indian Summer Golf & Country Club and the surrounding community. Setting out to broaden the members’ knowledge and appreciation of different wines, the Wine Club is open to all club members and residents of the Indian Summer community.

The Wine Club offers a unique opportunity for its members to sample a variety of wines, purchase the sampled wines at a special rate, and socialize with fellow members.

In 2007, a committee consisting of Indian Summer Golf & Country Club members and community members formed what is now known as the Indian Summer Wine Club.  The Wine Club was created to help members taste wines they might not otherwise sample, meet the winemakers behind these fine wines, and socialize with the other members.

The Wine Club offers several tastings per year and features delectable wines from around the world including Washington, Oregon, and California, as well as countries such as Chile, Argentina, Australia, Italy, and Spain. Accompanying the members’ wine is a detailed fact sheet that educates the sampler on the wine and the wine-making process.

Additionally, complimentary hors d’oeuvres are served. Throughout the year, the Wine Club also hosts gourmet, five-course meals, complete with wine pairings.

Tastings are usually held on the third Thursday evening of each month in the Indian Summer banquet room.  Due to the popularity of these events, members are encouraged to make reservations in advance.

Indian Summer Wine Club meets monthly on a Thursday at 6:30pm at the Clubhouse (5900 Troon) usually the 3rd Thursday, but it varies.
