The Security Committee members shall be appointed by the Board of Directors (the committee shall select their committee chair).
Suggestions for members shall be encouraged to promote broad participation.
The role of the Security Committee is (and not limited to):
- Oversee the maintenance of our community’s gated entrances
- Manage security contracts
- Manage gate/camera maintenance contracts
- Enter New Residents & Renters into the Directory
- Work with the Guards at the Guard House
- RFID & Key Card Sales
The Security Committee also supports safety initiatives that enhance the livability in the community (and coordinate with local law enforcement agencies as needed), such us:
- Support a safe commuter and pedestrian experience in the community (potential list of traffic calming devices)
- Speed humps
- Electronic speed notification signs
- Speed camera
- Speed radar devices
