Understand how to get your home projects approved by ARB

The role of the ARB is to assist homeowners with any exterior changes to their homes or landscaping ensuring they align with current CCRs and related Policies, including additional requirements for homes on the golf course. Homeowners must submit an ARB application for the project(s) prior to commencing work.

Below is an excerpt from our ARB Policy to give you an idea of the types of projects where ARB approval is required:

  • Construction and remodel
  • Re-roofing
  • Solar panel installation
  • Exterior painting
  • Hardscape installation
  • Fencing
  • Tree removal
  • Landscaping project
    1. Changing existing planting bed shape/size
    2. Changing planting bed groundcover material
      1. Example: removing bark and replacing with river rock
      2. Re-barking existing barked planting bed is not considered changing groundcover
    3. Removing or replacing healthy living trees/bushes
      1. Adding/removing annual plants and flowers is not considered removing or replacing healthy trees/bushes

Applications are reviewed and either approved or rejected
by at least 3 committee members and homeowners are
notified.

The ARB Committee reviews initial construction as well as requests for modifications to the exterior of homes, landscaping, and lots.

The committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 10 AM.
