The Maintenance Committee’s mission is to maintain and Enhance ISHOA assets and common property focusing on maintaining the Indian Summer Legacy as a premier neighborhood while being fiscally responsible with HOA funding.
We want to foster resident pride in ownership when entering their community and non-residents to desire ownership in ISHOA.
Our focus is on enhancing ISHOA property values.
We are a volunteer committee comprised of 9 members and a Board Liaison with all diverse career backgrounds & skills:
Jeff Gochenour (Chair), Bill Mosely, Tim Johnson, Dan Weiss, Ward Forrer, Guy Grayson, Susan McColley, Bill McClanahan & Rich O’Connell.
We report to the Board via Gordon Jackson (our ISHOA Board Liaison).
Career backgrounds include Retired CFO, USAF Colonel, Master Seaman, Senior Executive(s), Dr. Internal Medicine, landscape Design & Contracting, Contracts Management, & Complex Organizational skills.
Experienced in Projects & Contracts Management, Forest Products Planning & Control, Banking & Financial Services, Engineering, Internal Medicine, Marine transportation safety, Gardening and Landscape design & Maintenance.
We are responsible for maintaining and managing the HOA infrastructure, and all HOA common areas not managed by other committees or property owned by Indian Summer Golf & Country Club.
We develop an annual budget, which includes several long-term contracts, numerous one-off contracts, and administrative projects, as well as two utility contracts for HOA water and electrical.
Once approved, we plan, assign, schedule, execute, track, and status the work to the HOA residents & Board.
Our Long-term contracts include Contracts for; Landscape Maintenance, Irrigation, Street and Sidewalk maintenance, and Storm Water System Maintenance.
We also have several one-off contracts.
We additionally monitor and manage electrical and water usage and interface with our management company, VIS and their accounting systems to monitor invoicing and payment processing.
